The devoted deviants of Deviot enjoyed a great night out at the Hall

Thanks to Sonny and Cher aka Annette and Roger for a magnificent effort in making sure it all ran perfectly. 

three devoted " Sisters" had everyone boppin' along

impromptu duets were performed

to an enraptured crowd

a special guest star strutted his or her stuff in red boots to the accompaniment of " These Boots are Made for Walking"

as the night progressed more "stars" took the mike

girl bands were formed

many fine wines and beverages were partaken of

  and altogether it was "not too shabby"

KARAOKE NITE AT THE DEVIOT HALL

A dedicated band of funsters headed by the Captain and Co. (Annette and Roger Goodie) are well into the organization of the next Funfantaboulous event 
to be held at the Deviot Hall.
Karaoke kicks off at 6.30 on Saturday 25th August. 
Your $25 entry includes  
your first  drink from the bar, a piping hot casserole, cheese platter,  
fabulous prizes to be won and great company.

Hall Makeover

A couple of working bees at the hall have resulted in a reinforced floor - ready for another 100 years of dancing and a fabulous paint job on the ceiling. Paint donated by Dulux and painting equipment donated by Bill Green of Exeter Hardware. Thanks to both of those sponsors and and also to our community volunteers who gave of their time and skills to make it happen.

IMPORTANT WORKING BEE AT DEVIOT HALL
SUNDAY 27 MARCH

We are aiming at Sunday 27 March for a working bee to replace the
foundation plates underneath the hall and will need approximately 6
guys to help over maybe 2 weekends. 

We would appreciate help with this major task.
